Day (2) – My Intermittent Fasting Journey for Weight Loss

🌞 Morning Update

Today’s fasting window: 17 hours again

Start: My fast began at 7 PM after eating fruits last night

End: I broke my fast at 12 noon with fruits

Morning intake: I started my day with lemon water. Around 8:30 AM, and at 10 AM I drank black coffee.

🍴 First Meal (Opening the Fast)

Time: 12 noon

What I ate: Guava, banana, and orange

Experience: I felt a little weakness and some body pain because of exercising, but I managed it well. I successfully controlled myself on Day 2 too.


🍲 Meals Throughout the Day

Lunch: Only fruits

Evening snacks: A handful of peanuts and a cup of green tea

Light dinner: Again fruits – one banana, one apple, and two oranges


πŸ’ͺ Activity / Exercise

Completed 10,000 steps

Did 10 minutes of exercise


⚖️ Progress Tracker

Today’s weight: 63.85 kg (a drop of around 1.5 kg in one day)

Change from yesterday: Yesterday my weight was 65.40 kg, today it’s 63.45 kg – that’s 1.55 kg less.

Other observations: I was feeling hungry and couldn’t sleep properly because of the hunger. But since weight loss is my goal, some compromises are needed. I reminded myself that even if today feels tough, tomorrow will be better. This little struggle is for my own good health, so I must keep motivating myself and move forward.


✨ Reflection / Motivation

Today’s experience: I lost 1.5 kg, and seeing that on the scale in the morning made me very happy. Usually, in the first couple of days of intermittent fasting, you lose 1–2 kg quickly, then afterward the reduction is in grams. That’s normal. I felt very motivated today, but I also know I shouldn’t get overly excited, because later the progress slows down. The key is to stay focused on my main target weight. Ups and downs will come in this journey, but I must face them without giving up.


Focus for tomorrow:

Increase my exercise a little more

Stop eating peanuts since I feel they may add to my weight


A positive thought:

Let’s do this! Stay determined, lose weight, and begin a healthier lifestyle. This way we can stay away from medicines and enjoy good health.
