My Navratri Intermittent Fasting Challenge
This Navratri, I have decided to take up a new challenge that combines spirituality, discipline, and health. Starting from the very first day of Navratri, I will begin my intermittent fasting journey once again and continue it for two full months.
The goal is simple yet powerful—to bring back balance to my health and shed the extra weight I gained after delivery. I will track my progress daily, beginning with recording my weight tomorrow morning. For the next sixty days, I will monitor how my body transforms with the help of consistent effort and determination.
My Plan
Fasting Pattern: I’ll be practicing intermittent fasting every day.
Diet: I will follow a strict sattvic diet, keeping my meals pure, vegetarian, and wholesome.
Exercise: Along with diet and fasting, I’ll ensure I stay active by walking 10,000 steps every day.
Why This Challenge Matters
This isn’t my first experience with intermittent fasting. A few months ago, I committed to this lifestyle for four to five months and achieved amazing results—I lost 11 kilos. That journey taught me how effective intermittent fasting can be when combined with mindful eating and movement.
Now, after delivery, my weight has come back, but instead of feeling discouraged, I’m choosing to start again. Navratri feels like the perfect time to align discipline, devotion, and health together.

Over the next two months, I’ll share my progress, experiences, and the changes I notice in my body and mind. This challenge is not just about losing weight—it’s about building consistency, self-control, and becoming the best version of myself.
